Harbor Village Celebrates the Fourth!
Food, Fun, and Fireworks !
Harbor Village Merchants come together with Grub Town Army on Sunday July 3rd and Monday July 4th to celebrate The United States of America.
Half Moon Bay, Ca: People coming to Half Moon Bay will have a head start on Independence Day this year by kicking off the festivities with a celebration taking place on Sunday July 3rd and Monday July 4th from 11 am to sunset.
The Fireworks will precede the event on July 4th. Over Surfers Beach for one of the best fireworks shows in the bay area! The events at Harbor Village include:
• Great Food From the bay area’s best food trucks on both days including a bay area favorite Sam’s Chowder House and Kara’s Cupcakes! Go to www.grubtownarmy.com for more information.

• Face Painting
• Free 300 small Mini flags for first 300 people
• Free Kite Flying
• Prizes and raffles
• Family Games like Horse shoes, Frisbee throwing, and much much more.
The Food Truck event is sponsored by the Harbor Village Merchants association, the Oceano hotel, and Grub Town Army. With limited resources the merchants came together with the purpose of remembering our nation’s history, celebrating freedom and providing entrainment for parents and the youth from around the Bay Area. The firework show has its own separate sponsors.

Harbor Village Presents Locals Night Every Thursday!
Harbor Village Merchants kick off series of Thursday evening events targeted at Local HMB population beginning June 23rd 2011.
Half Moon Bay, Ca: Despite consistently busy foot traffic on weekends from tourism, weddings, and the Oceano Hotel, the merchants which make up the Shoppes at Harbor Village have made a commitment to win the loyalty of local residents residing in Half Moon Bay, El Granada, Moss Beach and Montara.
For months they have worked together in small teams to brainstorm ways of increasing foot traffic to the mall during the week. The outcome from their efforts is the concept of a series of Thursday evening events. Beginning on June 23rd every Thursday at the Harbor Village will include Music, Art displays, Specials, Sales, Samples and other events and activities. The events will take place every Thursday night through the summer with Live Music Beginning at 6:00, and activities taking place up until 8:00 P.M and beyond. This coming Thursday will feature live music and a special performance by Tahira dance group, a contemporary modern dance company.
The short term goal is to pamper locals with all that Harbor Village has to offer, the longer-term goal is to turn the entire area into a destination on Thursday nights, and Bring a premier Farmers Market to the area one day!
The following businesses will be participating in additional sales as described below:
• Kristi Will + Home Design- 10% off any items in store.
• The Wine Bar- 20% off all wine by the glass or bottles consumed on the premises. Coastside ID is required for discount.
• HMB Salt Water Taffy- 20% off all Taffy, Kites and other store merchandise.
• Harbor Books + Gallery-10% off all store merchandise.
• Princeton Yarns-10% off all store merchandise.
• Half Moon Flowers-10% off all store merchandise.
• Surf Factory-10% off all store merchandise
• Freedom Store- 20% off Freeset Bags. 100% of proceeds goes towards Not For Sale Campaign to help create futures for survivors of modern-day slavery (human trafficking).
